I love this pepper mill. However, I do not reccommend dropping it in a pot of water! My first one did not survive it. :D But the quality is great, I love that it is one you flip over since the mills that have the pepper coming out from the bottom leave pepper on the counter. Last time I checked, Amazon had only one Trudeau Elite Graviti Pepper Mill, All Black
